The Secret Garden - Biodiversity & Art Workshop

Description

In this outdoor learning workshop we’re going to enter into a magical world of Nature, Biodiversity and Art, where we will be outside in the Museum garden & grounds for the whole session.

These workshops will offer pupils the opportunity to explore biodiversity, outdoor artwork, and tackle nature based problem solving tasks. It’s also a great opportunity to use a safe, secure outdoor space at any time of the year and be at one with the natural environment.

By the end of the session, we will be able to…

  • Understand some of the historical contexts of the space
  • Consider the natural environment and bio-diversity
  • Engage in mindfulness and nurture mental well-being in outdoor spaces
  • Consider physical art and objects
  • Tackle nature based problem solving
  • Take part in groupwork
